Terms and Conditions
Pet Care:
Client authorizes Paws and Feathers NZ to perform pet care services as outlined below and in Pet Information form
1. If a pet becomes injured or ill while under the care of Paws and Feathers, Client authorizes transport of pet to veterinarian in the Pet Info (or one who is available) if this is needed in his/her best judgment
2. Client approves any emergency treatment recommended by the veterinarian.
3. Client releases Paws and Feathers from any and all liabilities related to transportation, treatment, and expense.
4. Client agrees to reimburse Paws and Feathers for any additional fees for tending to emergency or veterinary care as well as any expenses incurred for any other unexpected home, food, supplies etc
5. Client agrees payment is due as per invoice. and interest on unpaid bills accrues at $10 per week. Client will pay the reasonable fees and other costs if this account is sent to collection.
6. Client acknowledges Paws and Feathers is not an individual pet care giver. All pet care givers deliver the same level of quality care and service.

Photo and Video:
Paws and Feathers NZ may use your pet’s image or video on social media pages or website. If you do not agree to this indicate on Pet Information Form

Cancellation Policy:
Bookings cancelled 24 hours in advance to receive a credit. Cancellations within 24 hours will be billed at the regular rate. Refunds are not permitted

Future Services:
Client authorizes this agreement to be valid approval for future services. Accept email / Booking requests, and enter my premises without additional signed contracts or written authorizations.

Bookings:
1. Bookings and changes must go through pawsandfeathersnz@gmail.com
2. Paws and Feathers does not book specific times visits are scheduled as am or pm visits or per day for boarding
3. Consultation prior to discuss pet care, collect keys and complete Pet Information Form. Alarm codes and return of key agreed upon.
4. Confirmation of dates, care and cost will be sent by invoice via email to client

Liability
1. Client expressly waives and relinquishes any and all claims against Paws and Feathers, its team of pet caregivers and associates.
2.Paws and Feathers shall not be held responsible for any damage to Client’s property, or that of others, caused by Client’s pet(s) during the period in which the pets are in the care of Paws and Feathers.
3. It is client’s responsibility to notify Paws and Feathers of any pet that has ever caused an injury to any human or other pet.
4. If a pet has a history of biting or other aggressive behaviour, Paws and Feathers reserves the right to refuse service.
5. Bites must be reported to the local authorities as provided by law. The owner will be liable for the representative’s medical care expenses and damages that result from an animal bite.
6. Should another party outside of Paws and Feathers enter the client’s home, Paws and Feathers is released of any and all liability.

Pet Policy:
Paws and Feathers requires client’s dog to be on a leash when outside and only let client’s dog off-leash in a completely fenced in backyard with a high fence or other safe / secured area.
Severe Weather / emergency Policy:
1. If severe weather warnings / emergency Paws and Feathers will close and contact scheduled pet parents.
2. Paws and Feathers requests emergency contact (or client to arrange) to provide care if unable to reach client’s home due to extreme weather conditions / road closures / emergency
1. Paws and Feathers may need to book pet into a kennel or other care you will incur the cost. All measures will be taken to contact you prior.

Paws and Feathers understand the importance of your pet(s) to you. Before care clients must read and agree to the Terms and Conditions, and a Pet information form completed and signed
